Fourth Qtr. Progress Reports were mailed out on Thur., May 16, 2013.

Eighth Grade Information:

All 8th graders will be participating in a Personal Responsibility & Education Program (PREP).  A parental consent to participate in a School-Based Sexual Health Education Program is needed.  We are asking for your permission to allow your child to participate in a sex education/health program at school.  The Personal Responsibility Education Program is a teen pregnancy prevention program funded by the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division of the California Department of Public Health.  The program educates adolescents on pregnancy prevention, STIs, and HIV/AIDS through age appropriate and scientifically-based program models. The models also incorporate positive youth development/adolescent development topics. The PREP curriculum places an emphasis on both abstinence and contraception.

If you do not want your child to participate in the program please return the completed PREP form that has been sent out with your student by our P.E. Teachers.
